The objective was to investigate possibilities of exploration of the art, associated to the technological resource of the printer 3D, in the Teaching of Mathematics. For that, they were explored works of art that bring mathematical elements and artists that use mathematics to create his/her art. Taking the pyramid as mathematical object of study and inspiration, for his/her prominence in the history, in the mathematics and in the art, he/she told himself the process of development of a three-dimensional object, from the creation to the impression of this in the printer 3D. The characterization of the object, the retreat of the elements. Este trabalho de pesquisa aborda a arte e a impressora 3D no Ensino de Matemática, focando a criatividade, o senso estético e o conhecimento técnico, presentes tanto em uma obra de arte ou objeto, como na matemática e seu ensino. O objetivo foi investigar possibilidades de exploração da arte, associada ao recurso tecnológico da impressora 3D, no Ensino de Matemática. Para isso, foram exploradas obras de arte que trazem elementos matemáticos e artistas que utilizam matemática para criar a sua arte. Tomando a pirâmide como objeto matemático de estudo e inspiração, pelo seu destaque na história, na matemática e na arte, relatou-se o processo de desenvolvimento de um objeto tridimensional, desde a criação até a impressão deste na impressora 3D.
