The trace metals are a great environmental problem, for all environment inclusive the human being. Those species can bio accumulate in trophic chain. At this context, the constructive materials are made by inorganic raw material and, therefore, can have in their composition metallic species, those when expose to environment, can leach with the rainwater. The acidification of the rainwater can leach the metallic species which can on the other hand arrive to water bodies by the urban drainage. This kind of pollution is of difficult monitoring called non-point pollution. With these questions in the present work analyzed the metals: cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu), lead (Pb) and zinc (Zn). In samples obtained by the wash of the building sides of the Tecnological Federal Universida of Paraná in Curitiba, Paraná Brazil, this samples was collected in September and October in the year of 2015, with a artificial rainwater prepared with a aqueous solution of nitric acid (18 μmol L -1 ), sulfuric acid (18 μmol L -1 ) and sodium chloride (23 μmol L -1 ), and then analyzed by Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICPOES). The obtained result for Zn was 302 µg m-2 at mean, the second metal commonly found was de copper detectet in 1 sample in september in the concentration of 24,7 µg m-2 and in all samples in october and coud be quantified in 3 samples this month in the concentration 32,1 µg m-2 , 45,9 µg m-2 e 36,3 µg m-2 . The material that contributes with more quantity of metals was wall texture, cause by the porous surface. |
