Regarding to vaccination issues, SUS (Brazilian Public Health Care System) is the largest vaccine provider in Brazil; however, there is little access to reliable health care information and other related records which could be approached with the aid of a vaccination control application, since last research published by IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), more than 77% of the Brazilians aged 10 years or more own at least one mobile phone. Currently, there are mobile applications that can provide users with some vaccine record and control, but with some gaps, reported by users, such as absense of locating the closest public health facility location, restrictions for registering prior vaccines and user records, and a need for a feature that alows multiple user management for the same user account. This research presents an inclusive and participatory proposal for health care area in which users had been part of the development regarding the vaccination theme. Considering the perspective to solve some raised health care related issues raised by the users, it was mediated by techniques from Participatory Design for requirement analysis (ACOST), design (Braindraw) and evaluation (Cooperative Evaluation), an interactive mobile application prototype has been designed, created and evaluated with and by the
research/project participants. |
