This monograph discusses the development of a software for academic activities’ management. The software includes an agenda implemented for Windows Phone. The artifact can be constantly updated with information about academic appointments, which are included from different sources in a web server. The software represents a possible solution for some difficulties experienced in the academic environment, such as the difficulties to have efficient communication among professors and students and to manage the students’ academic activities. The software involves the use of technologies studied by the development team during the Information Systems university course, such as smartphones, client-server architecture, interaction design concepts and data bases. |
