This work aims to study the behavior of structural masonry, and the mechanisms that lead to the emergence of diseases, thus diagnose, and the adoption of preventive measures based on scientific knowledge. These results come from photographic report obtained on construction sites for construction companies of the city of Curitiba. The main objective was to identify processes of implementation of structural masonry construction system in order to analyze the possible causes of diseases in structural masonry. Em função do grande crescimento no mercado da construção civil nos últimos cinco anos, o sistema construtivo de alvenaria estrutural, vêm se desenvolvendo com elevada aceitação pelas empresas construtoras e demais setores da construção. Este trabalho visa estudar o comportamento da alvenaria estrutural, e os mecanismos que levam ao surgimento de patologias, permitindo assim diagnosticá-las, e adotando medidas preventivas baseada em conhecimentos científicos. Os resultados deste trabalho provêm de relatórios fotográficos obtidos em canteiros de obras de empresa construtora da cidade de Curitiba.
