Resumo: The study aims to develop an analysis of the flow of incoming material for repair process , the studied company that acts as a reseller and distributor of electrical materials segment in Curitiba , state of Paraná ( PR ) . Obtaining the results of this research was made possible through the use of data obtained in collaboration with suppliers, customers and employees who interact with the process. One of the reasons why this study was done is due to the absence of a method of flow analysis, ie evaluating the profitability of customer service in the repair process equipment. It was necessary to choose a single product line , due to the large amount of goods sold by the company and the existence of repair requests from different vendors . The inverter frequency up to 12.5 hp manufacturer WEG , in view of the traceability of the process used by the manufacturer of the item in the dealings of technical problems was chosen , and be used by several clients who work in industry and installers , and also by the value of the product for the analyzed organization. The proposal is based on the methodology of Value Stream Mapping to identify the feasibility of the procedure for the company , the possibility of replicating the protocol for other materials and if the service adds value to the sales department . One of the results achieved with the application of the method is the reduction of time in the process , which decreases the waiting time of the end customer
