Resumo: The global market is very demanding and competitive, particularly in relation to quality. To provide a good product, large companies seek to have processes that ensure the needs of its customers. When these processes are flawed, it is common for companies to use the quality tools to help locate the problem and present possible solutions so that there is no recurrence. BOSCH supplier of automotive parts had some problems in the assembly process of automotive packaging. In order to minimize non-compliances costs rework, wasted time and customer dissatisfaction, the case study shows the use of the 8D tool. This tool used by the company aims to solve problems to the continuous improvement of processes, working in the cause of the problem, generating preliminary solutions and definitive solution. Other quality tools were used in in order to support the 8D tool. Application tool has yielded significant results, therefore, provided an opportunity to identify the causes of the problem and the implementation of corrective actions and process improvement nonconformities maintaining customer satisfaction.
