Given the importance of measurement and characterization of surfaces in smaller and smaller scales, developing methods of measurement and characterization of surfaces becomes increasingly a challenge both for scientific research and for technological research applied as the development of new products with innovative functional performance depends fundamentally on the industry ability to manufacture and control surfaces with particular characteristics. In this context, the present work shows the development of a mathematical model from the points of a surface, with MATLAB® , for the analysis and computation of parameters that characterize it, thus becoming independent, the analysis of existing system surfaces characterization. |
