With a market characterized by intense competition, customer retention and winning new demands and markets have become a strategy where multiple factors need to be taken into consideration seeking harmony with each other, such as price, quality, timeliness, security technical assistance, among others. In this context, one of the key items is the preparation of the budget to be presented to the client. The budget of customized projects must have efficiency in response time to customers without neglecting the accuracy of the price to be charged. This work aims to show the improvements in the budget process in a metallurgical industry to reduce delays in the delivery of their budgets. Through analysis of the budgeting process, especially in activities related to the design sector, will be highlighted the main cause of the problem and the solution adopted for their resolution. With this work the metal industry had a considerable improvement in the management of the budget process, contributing to a reduction in delays of their budgets. |
