Campo Largo, one of the references in ceramics production, stands in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. Like many other Brazilian cities, Campo Largo has many familiar businesses, in which children follow his father's footsteps in ceramic factoring. The problem goes on while the distance of the scholarship provokes preventable causes of looses in the process, lack of control, lack of procedure, lack of professional training, even by market volatility. By join a project done with a network of support to Local Productive Arrangements (LPA) it was possible to do an study-case and detect improvements realized with the implementation of environmental management practices, waste management and control of process looses. It was possible to increase profitability in the final product, improving the quality and reproducibility of production. In addition it was possible to reduce consume of water from water supplier, were also implemented the segregation and disposal of waste most appropriate, adjusted to the reality of the company studied. |
