Resumo: Residential automation has been a way to bring comfort and economy to homes. Thus, the proposed work aims to bring the residential automation to a water heating system, in which PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) pipes can be used for the circulation of heated water. For this, a supervisory system of water temperature control has been developed that will access the plumbing, causing the water circulating through the PVC to have a satisfactory temperature limit to provide heated water and not to damage the hydraulic structure. Thus, the system aims, in addition to comfort, to bring energy savings to a residence, so that at the end of the work is presented the study of the economic viability of the implementation of the system. In addition, reduce the energy consumption is one of the 17 objectives of United Nations Organization for sustainable development.
