In many practical situations, it may be wanted to interact with the systems around for the knowledge, analysis or control. To make it possible, it is needed to obtain a model that represents the characteristics of these systems by modeling techniques. In the case of the BLDC motor, a desired response could be achieved by the design of a controller. But, for this, it is necessary to have a mathematical model that represents the dynamics of the system. The mathematical model can be built from a detailed study of the system, finding the physical equations and obtaining parameters related to its structure, which can be infeasible because of the time available or measuring equipment needed. Alternatively, there are some identification techniques in which only input and output of the system are required. This study evaluates deterministic and stochastic identification methods by obtaining models for a BLDC motor, presenting the results and conclusions reached with the experiments and analysis. |
