In nature some crystals show a interesting characteristic: the capacity of creating an electric/magnetic field when submitted by an external force. Crystals with this characteristic are called “piezoelectric crystals”. Willing to harness the sound energy on our daily routine and use this energy as an external force applied on the crystal, on this work it will be developed a system capable of measuring the amount of sound energy the piezoelectric crystals can absorb and what is the best arrange to get the best efficiency. |
