Resumo: Although Brazil has a great potential for photovoltaic solar energy, since it has high irradiation levels, the role of this renewable source of energy is almost irrevelant in the Brazilian electric scenario. However, in the last years, due to hydric crisis and the increase of the electric energy cost originated from thermal sources, the solar photovoltaic electric energy has become competitive related to those sources, in great part due to the decrease of the photovoltaic modules. An important milestone to the development of the solar photovoltaic energy in Brazil was the ANEEL no. 482 Normative Resolution, which has defined the Energy Compensation System. Finally, this paper has as main objective to analyze the grid connected solar photovoltaic system of the Green Office at the Federal Technological University of Paraná through its merit indexes that will be described during the development of this paper and also create residential scenarios that use Grid Connected Solar Photovoltaic Systems, in order to analyze its financial feasibility through the Brazilian tariff system.
