Resumo: The focus of the project is the design, simulation and implementation of a DC-AC converter that maximizes the power transfer of a photovoltaic system connected to the utility grid. Given its simple topology and wide acceptance a flyback topology was chosen among others. The converter is used in discontinuous conduction mode and a MPPT controller took part as a device for maximization of power transference. The module chosen as a model for the CC source holds a 87Wp maximum power. The parameters and standards were defined according to Brazilian official standards. Finally, the circuit was simulated in the PSim Software and later tested in the installations of UTFPR where the photovoltaic modules are available for academic research purposes.
