This work objective is the development of a supervisory system for monitoring the mechanical vibration in electrical induction motors, to be applied in the concept of predictive maintenance. The system developed in the Labview platform, allow the monitoring of the condition, based on the vibration level, and the analysis of the acquired signal to detect defects in the studied motor. In order to validate the program, it was developed a testing prototype which allows the insertion of controlled defects of, unbalance, cover clearance and Bearing, where several measurements have been done for each case of defect, using the developed Labview system and an already existent commercial system. The data collected with both systems have
been compared in order to verify the precision and capability of malfunctioning detection of the Labview developed system. As results, it was possible to determinate the effectiveness of the system with the data acquisition module used. |
