Resumo: This paper addresses the study of potency flow in a permanent regime, such on the conceptual and theoretical aspect as on the simulation of base cases of potency systems. On the past few years, it’s been observed the daily problem that the country has been having with the electric energy sector, and for that, the need of capacitated professionals on this knowledge area. The adaptation of laboratories of universities and study centers with simulation software is essential due to the complexity of the electric system which involves a great amount of elements, such as bars, lines and equipment. This work presents a study of the Anarede software that makes it possible to make studies in normal and abnormal situations of electrical network operation of potency. It is also demonstrated simulations in which the operator verifies the best break-even-point between the generation and the charge, bringing in consideration norms for voltage limit, generation and line charging. This way, it is elaborated an adequate planning to raise the electric system reliability, acting in a way to avoid extrapolation in the occurring of a contingency.
