Resumo: Considering the university-enterprise relationship, a case study will be presented in order to show the cooperation mechanisms and their stakeholders in a Public University.Through a documentary research, the main cooperation mechanisms of the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR) are investigated. The focus will be on the performance of the Pro-Rectory of Corporate and Community Relations (PROREC) – which is responsible for the interaction between university, enterprise and community. It is perceived a great number of mechanisms that allow the transfer of knowledge and technologies produced in the institution. Finally, through a questionnaire applied to the Directors of Enterprise and Community Relationship (DIREC) of all thirteen UTFPR's campuses and from the perspective of the universities, the companies and the researchers, the main barriers, facilitators and motivators that interfere in the cooperation of the university and the market are presented.
