The focus will be on the performance of the Pro-Rectory of Corporate and Community Relations (PROREC) – which is responsible for the interaction between university, enterprise and community. It is perceived a great number of mechanisms that allow the transfer of knowledge and technologies produced in the institution. Finally, through a questionnaire applied to the Directors of Enterprise and Community Relationship (DIREC) of all thirteen UTFPR's campuses and from the perspective of the universities, the companies and the researchers, the main barriers, facilitators and motivators that interfere in the cooperation of the university and the market are presented. Considerando a relação universidade-empresa, esta pesquisa apresenta um estudo de caso que tem como objetivo exibir os mecanismos de cooperação e seus intervenientes em uma Universidade Pública. Por meio de uma pesquisa documental, são investigados os principais mecanismos de cooperação da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), com foco na atuação da Pró-Reitoria de Relações Empresariais e Comunitárias (PROREC), responsável pela interação entre a Universidade, as empresas e a comunidade. É percebido um grande número de mecanismos que viabilizam a transferência dos conhecimentos e tecnologias produzidas na instituição. Por último, por meio de um questionário aplicado aos Diretores de Relações Empresarias e Comunitárias (DIRECs) de todos os treze campi da UTFPR, são levantadas, sob a perspectiva das universidades, empresas e pesquisadores, as principais barreiras, facilitadores e motivadores que interferem nessa cooperação da universidade junto ao mercado.
