Resumo: Software Engineering is an essentially interdisciplinary area. However, by the fact that this area be defined by the Reference Curriculum of the Brazilian Computer Society (2005) as a curricular framework isolated discipline of the computing undergraduate courses, sometimes its concepts are not properly applied. It is common to see the disciplines that compose the Software Engineering decontextualized and fragmented. The problem about this is that this area is too broad and complex to be summarized into a few disciplines. Given its interdisciplinary nature, it requires an equally interdisciplinary educational process. However, regarding the existing pedagogical practices in computing area, it is not observed much interdisciplinary actions. In this context, this work proposes a systematic literature review and some discussion in order to provide an alternative teaching method using PBL. As results it was observed that this teaching technique have potential to be adopted as an alternative applied to the formation of interdisciplinary citizens. Practical researches are in progress, aiming to demonstrate this potential.
