This study aims to identify the energy efficiency measures applicable to the lighting system of buildings A, B, C and D of UTFPR – Curitiba Campus in order to reduce the consumption of electric energy. Considering the growth in the use of electric power and the scarcity of resources to generate it, it was verified the necessity of the production and publication of this study. Through the survey of the architectural characteristics of the environments, the theoretical and legal basis of the Brazilian lighting standards, the analysis of the technical characteristics of the lighting system and the presentation of calculations, measurements and simulations, it was possible to prove the high potential of reduction in energy consumption of Buildings A, B, C and D of UTFPR Curitiba Campus. With this publication, it is hoped to encourage the use of efficient lighting systems and the production of more research on the subject. |
