Considering the growth in the use of electric power and the scarcity of resources to generate it, it was verified the necessity of the production and publication of this study. Through the survey of the architectural characteristics of the environments, the theoretical and legal basis of the Brazilian lighting standards, the analysis of the technical characteristics of the lighting system and the presentation of calculations, measurements and simulations, it was possible to prove the high potential of reduction in energy consumption of Buildings A, B, C and D of UTFPR Curitiba Campus. With this publication, it is hoped to encourage the use of efficient lighting systems and the production of more research on the subject. Este estudo tem por objetivo identificar as medidas de eficiência energética aplicáveis ao sistema de iluminação dos Blocos A, B, C e D do Câmpus Sede da UTFPR Curitiba a fim de reduzir o consumo de energia elétrica. Tendo em vista o crescimento da utilização de energia elétrica, verificou-se a necessidade da produção e publicação deste estudo. Através do levantamento das características arquitetônicas dos ambientes, do embasamento teórico e legal das normas brasileiras de iluminação, da análise das características técnicas do sistema de iluminação e a apresentação de cálculos, medições e simulações foi possível comprovar o alto potencial de redução no consumo de energia elétrica dos Blocos A, B, C e D do Câmpus Sede da UTFPR Curitiba.
