This work presents a video summarization algorithm, which was applied in the summarization of videos of digital platform games. In addition to the summarization algorithm, it is also proposed a method for dividing an image into line blocks that recursively uses a region growth algorithm with a cost function that analyzes distance color information. This algorithm was applied to detect three blocks of lines in each of the video frames, after the detection of the line blocks, the video was summarized using the difference between color, texture and motion. The efficiency of the summarization method used for each of the identified lines and also using global image information (as a comparison criterion) was analyzed. In addition to presenting the results obtained, experiments were also carried out to evaluate the algorithm proposed, through the viewers’ opinion of the summarized videos, obtained through a questionnaire. Through the experiments, it was possible to conclude that the technique of summarization based on blocks of lines is promising and it was also possible to identify several future works. |
