Resumo: Environmental education comprises an educational practice that helps raise awareness of students in relation to the preservation of the environment. Such area arose in order to sensitize society, promoting conservation attitudes. On the basis of such importance this work promoted improvements in ecological path of the Federal Technological University of Paraná-Campus Dois Vizinhos, through educational practices involving revitalization, identification of herbaceous species, lectures and visitations. The activities had positive responses, promoting involvement between teachers and students with environmental issues within the institution. As scientific knowledge, involving the Botany, the track features multiple and varied diversity of herbaceous species, being the more abundant the Hydrocotyle leucocephala Cham. The environment has low diversity and uniformity, showing points changed with regard to conservation. The study has provided practical way the development and application of environmental education, contributing to the professional and personal training of those involved.
