Resumo: This work presents an app, developed to run on mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones, aiming to assist in the teaching of mathematical skills for children who attend the initial years of elementary school and who have some intellectual disability. The development of this app took into account the growth in the number of schools with access to wireless internet in Brazil, as well as the spread of mobile devices in students’ daily lives. The purpose of this application is to help children in the knowledge of numeric numerals from 0 to 9, based on the strategy of the stimulus equivalence paradigm. This work instigates the use of technological tools as a form of support in the teaching and learning of basic contents of mathematics in Elementary School.
