Resumo: It is common to reflect on how technologies have influenced the habits of society. We are immersed in the digital age, and it is less and less a matter of adhesion but of adaptation for those born in another generation without this consolidating digital culture. Within this perspective, the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC), proposed by the Ministry of Education (MEC) brings some notes on the use of technologies in Brazilian Education. The objective of this work was to analyze the nature of these notes in Chemistry Teaching. The work approach was qualitative with document analysis. The BNCC is an official document that has been built since 2014 and recently had its 3rd version available and approved. This serves to establish the common ground with minimum learning rights content of students of Basic Education and to expose competences and skills, comprised in thematic units, to be developed in students. From this basis, schools should organize their curriculum and pedagogical proposal. After analyzing the document, there was a gap regarding the use of TIC in Chemistry Teaching, since all of High School is not well structured. Authors who make this discussion were sought to fill the gap identified, bringing examples of educational software that can help chemistry high school teachers.
