In most dairy products, biological methods are used for effluent treatment, or that cause large formation of biological sludge. This solid waste is stored within the industrial plant itself and subsequently uses other locations outside the generating industrial plant for treatment, increasing operating costs. On the other hand, a high concentration of organic matter present in the sludge or becomes interesting for use within the industry itself, reintroducing it as an energetic raw material for boiler burning, which, in turn, is widely used in the industry for production. Steam for the most diverse processes. In view of the exposure, the objective of this work is to evaluate the technical feasibility of boiler sludge burning by comparing the caloric potential of sludge at different filtration levels, combined with the material used in the boiler (chip). To perform the study, drying and calcination techniques were used in the drying oven with recirculating air and flakes, as well as the calorimetric pump to detect the calorific power of the analyzed materials. Through this work, the calorific power of in natura sludge was determined, 2025.96 kJ / kg, which finds a concentration of efforts of 17,99%, projecting a saving of R$ 38.334,45 per month with burning of sludge in the boiler inside the waste generating plant itself. An estimated savings of burning pre-dried sludge to a concentration of 50%, which detects a calorific value of 9.646,55 kJ / kg, resulting in a saving of R$ 41.104,50 per month was analyzed. Therefore, it was possible to conclude that the destination of fresh sludge for the boiler generates a lower economy when observed with the burning of dry sludge, so that there is a tendency of viability of installing a sludge drying plant in the agroindustry. Further studies are required on compliance with legislation related to the burning of energy mixtures of wood and sludge cavities at different scales of determination. |
