The selective collection deployment with the students from Monteiro Lobato Municipal School in the city of Santa Terezinha de Itaipu-PR, has been evaluated at first by questionnaries related to means of waste separation and selective collection knowledge. After the questionnary aplication, a lecture has been presented for the awareness of the students from 1st to 5th grade about the selective collection and correct waste disposal. For two weeks the results monitoring was made by means of records from students discarding the recyclable materials in the selective dumps, in addition to the application of a final questionnary to be compared with the first questionnary and check if there was the information absortion. The presented results in the knowledge questionnary were unsatisfactory, because it has been observed that the students didn’t have knowledge about the selective collectionand waste separation, but, after the lecture application, the results has been positives. |
