Many food industries need manipulate condiments to prepare their recipes. Aiming to this need, this paper presents the design of an automatic dosing system to condiments. The main justification to create a doser system like this, is to might have agility and precision at this stage of food production. The design of the automatic doser to condiments, presented in this work, aims at the dosing operation more reliably, making possible its use for various applications, such as managing raw material for production of beverages, mix of nutrients and liquids for food industry in general. The system consists basically of an balance attached on a treadmill, this in turn is disposed beneath the silos that store condiments to be measured. The ingredients are dosed into packages fixed on a support attached to a load cell. The assembly formed by the fixing structure and the load cell performs the function of a balance that moving up on the treadmill and under the silos. The whole system is controlled by a PLC and the operator can choose through an HMI, different recipes for condiments. This way, each quantity of condiment is measured automatically. The control imposed by the PLC still supervises possible errors as the breakup of the package, triggering emergency buttons, operation movements such as opening and closing dosing valves and the displacement of the balance on the treadmill. |
