This research has as a priority to develop a manual with recommendations visuals that aims to instruct professionals involved in the production of textbooks from the first year of elementary school. These recommendations were designed to highlight the importance of adequate presentation of the book and how it influences on understanding of content, with a focus on visual readability. Studies like the theory of cognitive development and some fundamentals of editing for publications were decisive for the justification of the project. The development of recommendations was made possible on the basis of action research, whose goal is to carry out a diagnosis and analysis of a given situation with a view to modifying them proposing an enhancement of the practices examined. |
