This work presents the creation of illustrations and graphic design of a children's book for the story "The Girl and the Little Bird". The book deals with the history of illustration for children in order to show its evolution, enabling understanding about the universe of children's book. The target audience was defined based on interviews with pedagogues, followed by activities with children to know in more depth about their preferences. Children's books on the market were studied, noting their most relevant graphic aspects in order to use them as a reference. Illustrators were interviewed in order to know their creative processes. Finally, the illustrations and graphic design of the children's book were created. |
