Resumo: This work presents an analysis of the Basic Health Units (UBS) of the Planalto and Industrial districts, located in the city of Pato Branco-PR. The objective is to evaluate the UBS aspects that satisfy the needs of the user, as well as the quality of the building, in the real scale and time. For that, data from the post-occupation evaluation (POE) were used, resulting in a multi-method approach, which included walkthrough analysis, questionnaires and the matrix of discoveries. The walkthrough allowed the recognition of the building as well as the functioning of the environments among other aspects. The questionnaires allowed an evaluation of user’s satisfaction, both internal and external of these UBS. Finally, the matrix of discoveries and recommendations was the tool that facilitated the approach of problems that interfere in the quality of the building, proposing solutions for found occurrences. The results showed that the methods used complement and are effective in the evaluation of health units. It was possible to promote the interface between observation of the researchers and the optics of the users, verifying the positive and negative points of the built environment. The results shows that there are still improvements to be made before undertaking a project in the health area, especially with regard to user satisfaction with the environment after its construction.
