The research of copyright and social rights has been given more attention to his works of regionalist, interiors. Urupês was the book delimited for the analysis, the book was made by 14 stories is elaborated with personages of the rural environment, where each one presents its way of life and its day. The book presents concepts that elucidate all aspects of what is done by Lobato, a criticism made by the knowledge of the life skills of the Tatu, which has no quality of life, either in health or education. Regina Zilberman's Children's Literature at School, Paranormal History of Children's Literature by Nelly Novaes and Coelho de Lobato a Bojunga - As Re-Renovated by Laura Sandroni. Based on theoretical data and on production, it was possible to present a life and other issues as the author traveled to then elaborate such work. It resulted in a job bringing a questioning with a character. Este trabalho de cunho análise literário analítico teve como objetivo abordar os aspectos que nortearam a vida de Monteiro Lobato com o intuito de apresentar as críticas feitas à condição de vida do homem do campo, descrevendo como era, na realidade, tornando possível ao público, uma forma de pensar no Brasil e nos seus problemas de uma outra forma e por um outro ângulo. Para a elaboração da pesquisa a respeito dos feitos do autor foi dada maior atenção às suas obras de cunho regionalista, interioranas. Nesse sentido, Urupês foi o livro delimitado para tal análise; o livro composto por 14 contos é elaborado com personagens do meio rural, o qual cada um apresenta sua forma de vida e seu dia. O livro apresenta conceitos que ilustram todos os aspectos críticos levantados por Lobato. A criticidade é feita por meio das condições de vida do Jeca Tatu, personagem que não tem qualidade de vida alguma, seja em relação à saúde ou à educação. Para tal análise, foram utilizados os seguintes referenciais teóricos, A Literatura Infantil na Escola, de Regina Zilberman, Paranorama Histórico da Literatura Infantojuvenil de Nelly Novaes Coelho e por fim o livro De Lobato a Bojunga – As Reinações Renovadas de Laura Sandroni. Com base nesses teóricos, abordando-se a obra Urupês, foi possível apresentar a vida e as questões diversas que o autor percorreu para então elaborar tal obra.
