Besides the arts presented, as: pictorial, musical and theatrical art ways. Therefore, it brings the description of a visual work, as an imaged object (picture, photo or figures, in this case, a picture frame). Wilde was an Irish writer who has lived for a long time in England and, particularly, in London, growing accostumed to its habits and its local cultures . The work was published in 1891, in the context of a puritan England, a period of rise and domination of the Bourgeoise. The Picture of Dorian Gray not only brings the pictorial art depicted in literary art, but the author also mentions other literary works such as William Shakespeare‟s, thus, making use of Intertextuality as well as, of detailed environments by means of characters, to look at the reader to images. Therefore by means of the analysis of sequences from the aforementioned work, we will examine the relationship between painting and other arts. Este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem por objetivo apresentar as relações de intertextualidade na obra literária The Picture of Dorian Gray, de Oscar Wilde, com demais obras, como: “Venice” de Pierre Jules Theóphile Gautier e as personagens trágicas de William Shakespeare nas obras: Otelo, Romeu e Julieta e Hamlet, e com demais formas de arte, como a arte pictórica, musical e teatral. Assim, ele trará a descrição de um trabalho visual, um objeto imagético (quadro, fotografia ou figura, no caso, um porta-retrato). Wilde foi um escritor irlandês, que viveu por muito tempo na Inglaterra e, em particular, Londres, habituando-se em demasia aos costumes e às culturas locais. A obra foi publicada em 1891, no contexto de uma Inglaterra puritana, um período de ascensão e domínio da burguesia. The Picture of Dorian Gray não traz apenas a arte pictórica descrita em arte literária, mas o autor também faz menção a outras obras literárias, como as de William Shakespeare, lançando mão, assim, de uma série de intertextualidades, além, do uso de detalhamento dos ambientes e personagens remetendo o leitor à imagem.
