Resumo: The object of study of this work are the songs "Pequeno mapa do Tempo" and "Caso comum de trânsito", composed by the Northeast poet and songwriter Belchior and recorded on the album Coração Selvagem (1977). These and the other songs were totally or partially blocked by the censorship in Brazilian dictatorial period (1964-1985). The main objective was to analyze the pre (texts) present in the songs of the northeastern songwriter Belchior related to the arguments used by the censorship organs to prohibit totally or partially the propagation of Belchior's songs. Therefore, we propose to comprehend the political, cultural and historical context of the Belchior's productions, as well as understand the relations of intertextuality with pre-existing and existing texts of the 1960s and 1970s. Belchior show himself as a composer poet who diversifies several elements to use them in the preparation of his songs. Moreover, during the analysis it was found a strong presence of intertextual elements in his literary-musical compositions. In conlusion, Belchior shown himself as a multifaceted composer and poet who thought and questioned the reality of the military dictatorship in our country. This poet of many faces bothered the military regime, because even in his revolutionary and marginal aspect, he always expressed poignant and realistic reflections on the atrocities that the military government committed.
