Learning chemistry is still seen with bigotry by high school students, especially in the first year. However, it is possible to alleviate this problem by replacing the traditional methodology by a more dynamically methodology by using other means for the development class, such as the application of educational games. The Luddism is an engaging activity that promotes effective participation of the student and encourage the search of knowledge and is increasingly being used as a pedagogical tool. The goal of this work was to apply ludic activities using the periodic table to the process of teaching andlearning of the electronic configuration of the chemical elements in high school. The project was applied in a school of public southwestern of Paraná. First we applied a questionnaire in order to identify the level of students understanding about the subject, then an introduction and discussion about the subject, and then made the implementation of a ludic game and finally applied the initial questionnaire again. It was observed that after applying the game most of the questions were a greater number of correct answers, which justifies the use of the game as a teaching tool in effective teaching and learning. |
