The textbook is considered essential within classrooms, and both teachers and for students, it serves as support. Given the importance of the textbook in teaching learning process this work aims to analyze textbooks Chemistry published between 1999-2010, to critically evaluate the content Thermochemistry, highlighting the variations in approach, language, images and exercises, and from this study provide important information on the changes observed in the books. The book was chosen by João Usberco and Edgard Salvador. The first analysis was made of the books unit form each of the issues, taking into account the approach understood to specific content analysis of the images and the language submitted by the authors. Although we analyzed the amount of exercise brought the books and the relationship that the book back on the daily life of the student and whether this emphasis on interdisciplinarity, contextualization and experimentation. What can be concluded from this study is that changes do occur in textbooks, because they need to follow the evolution of society, however this period of book publications of Chemistry, the changes occurring always aim to advance to a better understanding of students. |
