The field classes are titled in various forms and involve a series of activities outside the classroom, not only natural and open, but also social, cultural and dissemination contexts of science and technology, such as museums and astronomical poles. The classes developed in these places require detailed planning of the activities to be developed and organization about bureaucratic issues, such as authorizations and costs for transportation and stay. This paper discusses the theme of field lessons under the vision of science teachers of the public network of the municipality of Santa Helena / Paraná. The study seeks to correlate the positives and negatives highlighted in the questionnaires applied to teachers based on theoretical reference, among others that debate on the theme. The data were constructed through a structured questionnaire and analyzed according to the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Content Analysis. Through the research it was possible to note that teachers have knowledge about the use of field classes and understand their positive implications on the teaching and learning process of Sciences, but they find it difficult to carry them out due to lack of financial resources, time needed to plan the activities and bureaucracy involved to exit students from the classroom and the school environment. In conclusion, despite the fact that the history of education emphasizes the importance of the use of field lessons, there are still resistance and difficulties for its application. |
