Resumo: The storage of water in the buildings is done in order that the resident populations can be supplied uninterruptedly, not being affected by the lack of water, due to the network maintenance and by the pressure differences that water reaches each edification water points. The reinforced concrete’s reservoirs have the purpose of storage that, commonly, water is the main liquid stored by this structural element. In this present work was done an elevated reservoir dimensioning in reinforced concrete of Edifício Capanema, located in the city of Capanema / PR, considering all applicable currently norms and regulations. For this purpose the reservoir analysis was performed considering at the beginning the bottom slab, roof slab and walls as slabs, methodology that determinates flat bending reinforcement steel. Subsequently, the walls reinforcements’ steel was calculated by the beam connecting rods methodology. Through the superposition between the armature calculated by the plates’ method and the beams method, the detailing of the reinforcements for each one of the slabs and the walls was done. In addition, checks were carried out on the arrow and when cracking, in order to verify the guarantee of the leakage, of the durability of the safety of the structure.
