The reinforced concrete’s reservoirs have the purpose of storage that, commonly, water is the main liquid stored by this structural element. In this present work was done an elevated reservoir dimensioning in reinforced concrete of Edifício Capanema, located in the city of Capanema / PR, considering all applicable currently norms and regulations. For this purpose the reservoir analysis was performed considering at the beginning the bottom slab, roof slab and walls as slabs, methodology that determinates flat bending reinforcement steel. Subsequently, the walls reinforcements’ steel was calculated by the beam connecting rods methodology. Through the superposition between the armature calculated by the plates’ method and the beams method, the detailing of the reinforcements for each one of the slabs and the walls was done. In addition, checks were carried out on the arrow and when cracking, in order to verify the guarantee of the leakage, of the durability of the safety of the structure. O armazenamento de água nas edificações é realizado com o intuito de que as populações residentes possam ser abastecidas ininterruptamente, não sendo afetadas pela falta de água, devido a manutenções da rede e pelas diferenças de pressão com que a água chega aos pontos de água de cada edificação. Os reservatórios de concreto armado possuem a finalidade de armazenamento em que, comumente, a água é o principal liquido armazenado por esse elemento estrutural. No presente trabalho foi realizado o dimensionamento do reservatório elevado em concreto armado do Edifício Capanema, localizado na cidade de Capanema/PR, considerando todas as normas e regulamentos aplicáveis vigentes. Para tal efeito a análise do reservatório foi realizada considerando, inicialmente, a laje de fundo, laje de cobertura e as paredes como placas, metodologia na qual foi feita a determinação das armaduras por meio de flexão plana. Posteriormente, foram calculadas as armaduras correspondentes as paredes pela metodologia de vigas usando bielas e tirantes. Por meio da superposição entre a armadura calculada pelo método das placas e pelo método das vigas, foi feito o detalhamento das armaduras para cada uma das lajes e das paredes.
