Industry 4.0, term that represents the 4th Industrial Revolution, is a trend for the productive sector and has been gaining space in the discussions with the increase of studies and publications about the subject. Due to being a recent issue, the lack of understanding of the subject implies a difficulty in understand what aspects are needed by organizations to implement Industry 4.0, as well as the benefits provided and changes required in the organization. This paper is a systematic review of literature that aims to identify and analyze what are the main impacts of Industry 4.0 on organizations. Two article portfolios were considered. The bibliometric analysis was based on a broader article portfolio in order to understand the structure of the research theme. The qualitative analysis was performed with the help of the NVivo 12 software from a portfolio of articles selected through the application of Methodi Ordinatio methodology, in order to identify and discuss relevant aspects related to the impacts caused by Industry 4.0 on organizations. There has been a great growth in publications on the subject, as well as the importance of Germany and the existence of relevant research groups in China and Italy. Six macro areas were identified in which the impacts of Industry 4.0 are manifested in organizations, in addition to the main research themes. Thus, the overview offered by the systematic review of literature on the subject was presented, in order to make more evident the impacts of Industria 4.0 on the organizations and prepare them for the changes coming from this new industrial era. |
