Resumo: Nowadays, the level of importance that society and industries give to energy efficiency is high, since this is a concept fully linked to environmental issues and studies of new technologies and methods, whether these are to improve the efficiency of productive processes, optimize production costs or even eliminate waste. Under this scenario, the industrial modulation shows itself as a production management methodology that allows understanding the gaps of the areas involved in order to identify their problems and their opportunities. This technique, in turn, is able to bring improvements and gains associated with the energy efficiency of the company, because, this is a procedure that absorbs not only the analysis of the production process in general, but also proposes the efficient alignment between the areas, according to their production projections. In this sense, the aim of this research is to apply the concepts related to the industrial modulation in order to reduce the consumption of electricity in a beverage industry. This work is an action research supported by bibliographic research and is divided into three phases: mapping of the initial situation, elaboration of proposals for improvements and the action plan, and the implementation of actions to raise the results. The understanding of the processes of each of the plant areas was obtained through manufacturing plant training sessions and documentary analysis. When analyzing the results obtained with the study there is a 17,83% reduction in the electrical energy indicator of the plant when comparing the initial situation with the situation achieved. So, it can be concluded that the implemented action plan was performed effectively and efficiently and the objectives determined were achieved, proving that the methodology related to manufacturing modulation can act positively in the energy efficiency of a beverage industry.
