Resumo: The quality of Brazilian public educational system provided by the Government, in general, is lagged comparing with the private system. The physical facilities conditions are one of the features that contribute to it. In order to meet this item, besides the necessary basic infrastructure, environmental comfort is fundamental for user satisfaction and performance. Lately, a standard project has been created for school buildings to be deployed in order to ensure economy, agility and constructive practice. However, about been a standard project, several times the local characteristics where they will be implemented are not considered, and may contribute negatively in the student's learning level. The research was developed with the support of software for development of computational simulations in varied combinations of timetables, days and possibilities of solar orientation with the application of shading elements. In order to evaluate the behavior of the solar radiation in different deployments of the building and contributing to the draughtsman have information that may assist in the design and implementation stage. It was possible to note that the use of horizontal brises soleils had shown more effective in the orientation analyzed for the solar access blockade, in Londrina city.
