The rapid expansion of UAV requires a study that enables the integration of these devices in the airspace that is currently allocated to other manned aircraft, without, however, affecting the safety of flight. This study aims to describe rules, guidelines and recommendations for operational safety as set down the instructions and manuals of the Air Force Command in force in the country, in order to ensure the safety of crew and passengers aboard commercial aircraft, as well as the integrity physical persons in soil and protection of buildings on land. The methodology used was mainly focused a visit to Subdivision of the Air Traffic Management and Subdivision of Military Operations of the Second Integrated Center for Air Defense and Air Traffic Control - CINDACTA II. The data obtained demonstrated the regulations and operating procedures Remotely Piloted Aircraft of a the Brazilian Airspace. As regras de segurança no uso de Veículos Aéreos Não Tripulados (VANT) é parte integrante de uma operação aeronáutica para obtenção de bons resultados. A rápida expansão dos VANT exige um estudo que possibilite a inserção destes equipamentos no espaço aéreo que, atualmente, é destinado às demais aeronaves tripuladas, sem, contudo, afetar a segurança de voo. Este estudo tem por objetivo descrever regras, diretrizes e as recomendações de segurança operacional conforme preceituam as Instruções e Manuais do Comando da Aeronáutica em vigor no país, com vistas a garantir a segurança dos tripulantes e passageiros a bordo das aeronaves comerciais, bem como a integridade física das pessoas em solo e a proteção das edificações em terra. A metodologia utilizada teve como foco principal uma visita à Subdivisão de Gerenciamento de Tráfego Aéreo e à Subdivisão de Operações Militares do Segundo Centro Integrado de Defesa Aérea e Controle de Tráfego Aéreo - CINDACTA II.
