The need for urban mobility resulting from the growth of cities, led to the use of the public transport service grew increasingly. Although the modal public transport, the bus is the most used means of transportation in Brazil, the lack of attention and investment in this area causes dissatisfaction both for users and for those who work with shipping. The working conditions of bus drivers have caused the number of labor lawsuits against bus companies increase due to hearing loss. To check the levels of noise to which drivers are exposed dosimeter measurements and evaluated the impact caused by noise during working hours were conducted through questionnaires. All measured noise levels equivalent, total twenty, resulted in less than 85 dB (A), of these, only seven were between the level of action and tolerance. The questionnaire administered to 49 drivers shows that the effects of noise exposure in occupational health in drivers increase with longer service. Therefore, it is extremely important to constantly review, conducting audiometric tests periodically and medical care through routine screening for prevention of diseases directly or indirectly caused by noise exposure. A presente dissertação objetiva analisar os níveis de ruído produzidos durante a jornada de trabalho de motoristas que conduzem ônibus equipados com motor dianteiro em uma empresa na Região Metropolitana de Curitiba, no estado do Paraná. A necessidade de mobilidade urbana decorrente do crescimento das cidades, fez com que a utilização do serviço de transporte público crescesse cada vez mais. Embora, no modal transporte coletivo, o ônibus seja o meio de transporte mais utilizado no Brasil, a falta de atenção e investimentos nesta área causa insatisfação tanto para os usuários como para quem trabalha com o transporte. As condições de trabalho dos motoristas de ônibus tem feito com que o número de ações trabalhistas contra empresas de ônibus aumente devido à perda auditiva. Para verificar os níveis de ruído a que os motoristas estão expostos, foram realizadas medições com dosímetro e avaliado, através de questionários, os impactos causados pelo ruído durante a jornada de trabalho. Todos os níveis de ruído equivalente medidos, total de vinte, resultaram em menos de 85 dB(A), destes, apenas sete ficaram entre o nível de ação e o limite de tolerância. O questionário aplicado a 49 motoristas mostra que os efeitos da exposição do ruído na saúde ocupacional aumentam em motoristas com maior tempo de serviço.
