Resumo: To have greater efficiency in the evacuation of the population in an environment with fire occurrence, the implantation of a Plan of Emergency is ideal, as well as simulated and training. This research presents as objective main a study on the difficulties of if applying a plan of emergency against fire in one buffet of infantile party. Approaching the concepts on fire, plan of emergency and brigade to assist in the case study, beyond exemplify accidents already occurred in similar places to the study environment, demonstrating the risk and the necessity in to have a team trained for emergency situations. The case studied was applied in a buffet of infantile party, located in Curitiba-PR city, composition for two halls of parties. A brief questionnaire composed of 4 questions was applied to evaluate the knowledge of the officials about fire fighting and evacuation. In addition, through a study visit, a checklist was developed to identify the presence of some fire-fighting devices required by the Fire Department of Paraná, demonstrating that although the site has these devices, some flags were incorrectly installed and fire extinguishers may not be as efficient due to the lack of professional knowledge in handling them. Through visits and rendering of services in the place, some problems had been pointed that make it difficult the success and/or implantation of a Plan of Emergency against fire, like: difficulty in having a team trained due to rotation of employees, inexistence of emergency exit, next impossibility to make simulated of evacuation to the real conditions, as well as the difficulty to a large extent of the floating population would be composed for a public of children.
