By the design solution, taking into account a 300 kWh month consumption profile, there were made requests for quotation to turn key enterprises for achieving price range and determine mean price. At that point, there were made calculations to spot payback time of the solution according to two different consumption profiles. There is expected payback timeshould be influencedtaking into account:consumer electricity self-consumption profile, interest tax ,electricity tariff and ICMS tax applied over the amount of energy injected by the photovoltaic panel on utility network. Payback time taking into account the time value of money over the profile consumption of 25,48% of self-consumption and 74,52% of energy injection into grid was bigger than 50 years while over the profile of 85,76% of self-consumption and 14,24% of energy injection into grid was 18 years and 5 months. Este trabalho apresenta uma pesquisa científica aplicada do tipo quantitativa, abordando questões técnico-econômicas da implantação de microgeração distribuída solar em telhado sob o ponto de vista do consumidor residencial em Curitiba-PR. Determinou-se a solução técnica para atender um cliente residencial com consumo de 300 kWh/mês. A partir daí realizou-se um levantamento de mercado com o objetivo de precificar a solução proposta e calcular o seu preço médio. A análise de viabilidade foi realizada com base no payback do investimento sobre dois perfis de consumo diferentes. Impactam no tempo de retorno do investimento principalmente o perfil de autoconsumo da residência,o custo de oportunidade do dinheiro, o valor da tarifa de energia e a incidência de ICMS sobre a energia injetada na rede.
