The purpose of this work is to offer conceptual and methodological elements so that Elementary School teachers can enrich the vocabulary repertoire of their students, since they are arriving in High School with insufficient levels reading and writing skills foreseen in the National Curricular Parameters expected for this education modality. According to Antunes (2012, p.14) "the expansion of the lexical repertoire is that it demands much more diversified experiences and far from the informal spaces of everyday colloquialism". And thinking about this, I propose to carry out custom dictionary construction activities, in a study of semantics from significant texts, taking advantage of studies on textual genres in particular, the narrative genre. They present narrator, plot, characters, space and time, conflict, climax, resolution of the conflict and conclusion of the facts, which facilitates the exploration and supplementation of the vocabulary repertoire that is the objective of this work. |
