The objective of this study is to analyze how motivation characteristics aiming at increasing productivity and improving the quality in the execution of civil construction works, based on the bibliography studied on motivation, productivity and quality in the activities performed by the collaborators as well as, based on the results From field surveys. In the bibliographic research stage, the main motivational theories were cited as sources of motivation at work and styles of motivational behavior. For the proposed objectives, a questionnaire was developed by workers from a construction and pre-cast construction company who worked in three environments with working conditions - office, factory and works. As a conclusion, it was found that salary is an important motivational factor. However, it must be linked to other issues such as: opportunities for growth within the company, professional recognition, self fulfillment and good living with people. Although it does not meet all the expectations of its employees, a company has succeeded in what it is about satisfying as people who are part of it, ie, the level of satisfaction of its employees regarding the risks of innovation is high, however, Some suggestions have been made to bring about improvements in human resource practices. |
