Therefore, the chosen theme aims to comparatively analyze two constructive systems of vertical seals: masonry with ceramic blocks and masonry with solid gypsum block through a study of productivity, cost and waste generation obtained in two distinct constructions. Through the collected data, it was possible to calculate the productivity and the unit cost of the systems using TCPO and SINAPI table (CAIXA). The results indicate that the system with gypsum blocks has better productivity and higher cost in relation to the system with ceramic blocks. In terms of sustainability, the gypsum blocks presented less waste when compared to conventional masonry. The parameters analyzed allowed the verification of the feasibility of gypsum blocks for residential buildings. A competitividade entre as empresas da construção civil e a atual situação econômica do país têm exigido a racionalização dos métodos construtivos com o intuito de aumentar a qualidade do produto e diminuir os custos e tempo de execução dos edifícios. Diante disso, o tema escolhido tem o objetivo de analisar comparativamente dois sistemas construtivos de vedações verticais: alvenaria com blocos cerâmicos e alvenaria com blocos de gesso maciço através de um estudo de produtividade, custo e geração de resíduos obtidos em duas obras distintas. O trabalho consistiu em um estudo de caso a partir de duas obras residenciais. Através dos dados coletados, foi possível calcular a produtividade e o custo unitário dos sistemas usando como base a TCPO e tabela SINAPI (CAIXA). Os resultados encontrados indicam que o sistema com blocos de gesso possui melhor produtividade e maior custo em relação ao sistema com blocos cerâmicos. No âmbito da sustentabilidade, a alvenaria de gesso apresentou menor quantidade de resíduos quando comparada à alvenaria convencional.
